How an investor gets into the portal. Today 95%+ of investors come in via brochure download → website form, and the backoffice still creates the account manually. The portal registration flow below is the priority redesign.
Key flow
Portal registration — current → future
From brochure to active portal account
1
Brochure downloadInvestor downloads the bond brochure on the DCT website — leaves contact details. 95%+ of investors enter here today.
→
2
Registration formInvestor fills in the form at dutchcleantech.nl/nl/direct-registreren/ — the official intake step.
→
3
Account auto-createdThe form directly creates a portal account on submit — the desired change vs. today, where the backoffice still creates it manually.
Activation can happen via two paths↓
Self-activation preferred
An automatic e-mail describes the next steps. The investor sets a password, verifies their e-mail and completes their profile — fully self-service.
Backoffice-initiated assisted
Backoffice triggers a "set password" link — sent to the investor. The investor clicks the link, sets a password and lands directly in the portal.
Portal self-signup future essential
The investor creates an account directly in the portal, without filling in the website form first. Possible today but rare; set to become the main route.

First loginInvestor logs in for the first time — lands on the dashboard.
→
5
Profile completePersonal & bank details confirmed; ready for the first investment.
→
6
Investment-readyThe portal account is active — investor can subscribe to a bond / tranche.
Today vs desired: today 95%+ of accounts are still created manually in the backoffice after the website form is submitted. The shift is to (a) let the form create the portal account automatically on submit, and (b) offer two activation paths — investor-driven via an auto-email, or assisted via a backoffice-triggered "set password" link. Portal self-signup is today the exception; in the future it should become the primary route.

Certificate future
Identification is required — the investor uploads an ID document and a full KYC check is performed.
Token future
Planned for a later phase. Identification approach to be defined.
